Pre-Dance II (Thursday and Saturday)
Contemporary
5:30pm Dress Rehearsal (One Parent/Guardian only)
Dancers should arrive between 5:10-5:20 in regular clothes and bring costume in garment bag. Parents must stay at dress rehearsal with students under age 12.
You should arrive wearing:
Pink Tights (Thursday Pre-Dance II & Ballet I ONLY)
Tan tights (All classes, except Thursday Pre-Dance II & Ballet I).
Hair in a (low) bun.
Recital make up (Red Lipstick, Pink Cheek blush, blue eye shadow).
Dancers go to dressing room (female dressing room: Faculty Restaurant. male dressing room: Classroom) and get into costume. When dressed in costume, go sit in the audience. (NO PARENTS ALLOWED IN THE DRESSING ROOM OR BACKSTAGE, expect 1 female parent for pre-dance students to help them get ready)
Do not bring additional family members or small children that are not in the show to dress rehearsal.
Dancers can leave dress rehearsal after they have practiced on stage, be back in time for the show. Some dancers will not have time to leave dress rehearsal before the show. We will run rehearsal in the order of the show.
8:00pm Showtime. Doors open at 7:30pm
If you leave dress rehearsal and come back, be sure to wear your regular clothes (no costumes in the lobby). Running time for the show is 1 hour. No Intermission.
Dancers only backstage (except 1 female parent for Pre-Dance Students)
